strong About Us strong Ready to change the world We re reinventing freight and logistics at Trella Backed by a number of leading VC companies YC Maersk Growth Algebra Ventures and Raed Ventures and we re looking for the best talent out there to help us build and scale our product offering We aspire to create a step-change in the industry and we want you to be a part of the journey We are innovative problem-solvers on this adventure together Working at Trella means that you ll be surrounded by colleagues who are constantly pushing boundaries thinking ahead and meeting the high standards we set for ourselves When we build we do so in a product-led way we value our customer experience and scalability and we prioritize how we build our product accordingly strong Our Purpose strong At Trella our Vision is to strong Empower our Communities to move Economies Forward strong and we re doing this by building a digital experience that provides our Shippers Carriers and Teams with the right technology and platform that reduces the costs of moving goods gt Simply we re trying to strong disrupt strong and strong reinvent strong trucking and strong empower strong our economies We have launched from Egypt to Saudi Arabia Pakistan and UAE and are looking to build and expand our footprint across the MENA-P region strong About the Role strong strong strong At Trella we are always seeking to innovate and deliver best-in-class service for shippers and carrier partners Becoming the freight platform of choice is a company mission and goal We believe that our ability to deliver on providing a wide variety of supply through unprecedented levels of fulfillment rates affordably is where we can fill a basic pain in the market Trella is seeking a sharp personable highly-organized Operations Specialist to support our UAE team as we continue to establish our commencement in the UAE This is an opportunity to work with a stellar operations team on the daily functions that are at the core of Trella strong What You ll Do strong Continuously grow and strengthen the suppliers network to enhance operational capacity Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key partners Receive review and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner ensuring top notch shipper experience Coordinate with shippers carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure flawless fulfillment and eliminate any internal inefficiencies Ensure all shipping documents such as bills of lading customs paperwork and invoices are complete and accurate Monitor shipment status in real-time and communicate updates to customers and internal teams Proactively identify and resolve issues related to delays damaged goods or any shipment related issues Identify trends in fulfillment operations and suggest process improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales finance and broader teams to streamline workflows Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company s customer base Research and target new shippers ensuring alignment with the company s service capabilities and growth strategy Build and promote strong long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs Put consistent effort into growing the existing shipper base as well as bringing in new business Diversify the customer portfolio by engaging with customers from different industries and regions Take full accountability for achieving growth KPIs and targets related to customer acquisition revenue growth and customer retention strong What You ll Need strong Bachelor s in Economics Finance and or Engineering 3-5 years of experience Strong ownership a bias for action and willingness to roll-up your sleeves Relevant experience working in UAE market Analytics and excellent excel google sheets skills Experience in dealing with complex data sets deriving insights and checking against what you see in the real world Own a car for transportation
