Sales And Pricing Coordinator – Freight Forwarding Industry

    The Sales & Pricing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the commercial activities by preparing competitive quotes, maintaining pricing databases, coordinating with carriers and suppliers, and assisting in sales-related activities. This role ensures timely and accurate responses to customer requests and contributes to the overall growth and efficiency of HLOG’s freight forwarding operations. Key Responsibilities: Pricing & Quotation Management: • Receive and analyse customer inquiries for air, sea, and land freight. • Coordinate with carriers, agents, and service providers to obtain cost rates. • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations as per pricing policy. • Maintain an updated rate database and monitor market rate fluctuations. • Support pricing negotiations with service providers to ensure cost efficiency. Sales Support: • Assist the sales team with lead follow-ups, quote tracking, and customer coordination. • Prepare customer presentations, rate sheets, and sales reports. • Update the CRM system with client data, quote status, and pipeline information. • Support customer onboarding and documentation processes. • Help track KPIs and contribute to internal reporting dashboards. Coordination & Communication: • Liaise with operations, suppliers, and finance for quote validations and booking confirmations. • Ensure internal alignment and timely communication of pricing or service updates. • Act as a point of contact for clients for quote-related queries and clarifications. Operational Backup: • Provide support to the Operations Coordinator in shipment follow-up, documentation, and coordination. • Step in during peak periods, staff absences, or when operational support is required. • Ensure smooth handover and alignment between sales and operations teams

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. • 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry. • Strong understanding of freight pricing across air, sea, and land. • Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent). • Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills. • Detail-oriented with a customer-first mindset. • Familiarity with operations and reporting tools / systems
