Responsible for ensuring organization x27 s adherence to applicable laws regulations and internal policies The role required a strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation and excellent communication and interpersonal skills The position would be the owner of the Standard Operating Policies and Procedures and be responsible for test checking compliance and recommending the best practices Additional responsibilities include support and compliance for treasury and insurance Key responsibilities Lead compliance with applicable laws regulations and internal policies in coordination with cross functional teams E g Track documents in relation to company registration trade license board resolutions etc and coordinate with legal team for amendments as and when required Conduct regular compliance reviews and assessments Review and ensure compliance with Finance assurance reports FAR across regions Release periodic MIS and drive compliances scores Drive implementation of management action plans arising out of Internal Audit Reviews and Audit Committee Meetings Test check assurance from cross functional teams and maintain records Coordinate and facilitate additional compliance MIS as may be required Own Standard Operating Policies and Procedures and test compliance while driving improvements Drive and support IFRS compliance across regions Identify and share best finance practices across business verticals and regions Support Corporate Head of Finance in driving improvements to Risk Assurance Framework including IT automation Support Corporate Head of Finance in driving improved compliance of Schedule of Authority Support Finance teams on Statutory audit on a need basis Track and ensure timely updation of bank mandates KYC compliance loan covenants etc Ensure timely servicing of loans and support in additional funding refinancing etc on need basis Ensure optimal utilization of treasury products support administration of corporate credit card Coordinate and ensure insurance at all times and support claim management Support Corporate Head of Finance in improving the compliance awareness and in special projects Similar experience preferably in hospitality businesses. Excellent knowledge of accounting guidelines including IFRS, experience in internal Audit, Assurance services, treasury, insurance, exposure in ERP environment (Oracle or SAP), excellent skills in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
